How We Make Money β€” and Why It Doesn't Change What We Recommend

Most affiliate sites bury this. We're putting it front and center because we think you deserve to know exactly how this works.

The Short Version

When you buy a simulator through GolfSims.com, we earn a commission from the manufacturer or distributor. You pay the same price you'd pay anywhere else β€” sometimes less, because of our dealer relationships. We never mark up products beyond standard retail pricing.

Why We Carry Every Major Brand

We are an authorized dealer for over a dozen simulator brands β€” from Garmin and SkyTrak to Foresight Sports and Trackman. We did this deliberately. If we only sold one brand, we'd have an obvious incentive to push you toward it regardless of whether it was right for you. Carrying all the major players means our recommendation is driven by your situation, not our margin.

A $600 Garmin R10 and a $55,000 Trackman iO generate different commissions. We recommend the Garmin to the golfer who should buy the Garmin.

What "Authorized Dealer" Actually Means

Being an authorized dealer means we have a direct agreement with each brand we carry. That matters for you because:

  • Your warranty is valid and fully supported by the manufacturer
  • We can't be undersold by grey-market resellers without warranty coverage
  • We have access to the same pricing as any other legitimate retailer

How Our Recommendations Work

Our Simulator Finder Quiz asks about your room dimensions, budget, skill level, and how you plan to use the simulator. The recommendations that come out of that are based on fit β€” not on what earns us the highest commission. We'd rather you buy the right $1,500 setup and love it than the wrong $8,000 setup and resent it.

Every "Why We Recommend This" and "Who Should NOT Buy This" section on our product pages is written with this in mind. If we think a product has a meaningful drawback, we say so.

FTC Disclosure

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines, GolfSims.com discloses that we receive compensation in the form of dealer margins and commissions when customers purchase products through our site. This compensation does not influence our editorial recommendations, product rankings, or buying guide content.
